I finished NaNoWriMo 2022! (Write 50k words—or a novel—in a month!) I also traveled up to Ashland, Oregon and saw Christmas Carol at the dine-in Cabaret Theatre! And I visited several of my favorite small bookstores!

Currently, I am attempting NaNoWriMo 2022! (Write 50k words—or a novel—in a month!) I’m using the challenge to finish up the final books of two Middle Grade/YA fantasy duologies about twin sisters, magical aprons, evil mages, and runaway planets.

The sun was so hot and bright, Asami didn’t expect the fog. It was a thick, foamy sky expanding flatly from the line of hot horizon where the red dwarf crouched, glowing upon the edges of the world, fading only at its zenith, and gradating into shadows at the opposite horizon.
